What’s a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It might remember something useful (like a choice you’ve made), or let a third party recognise your browser again later (which is how most online advertising works).

How we ask

The first time you visit, we ask before doing anything beyond what’s strictly necessary to run the site. You can accept all, reject all, or choose exactly which categories you’re comfortable with — all three options are given equal weight; we don’t hide “reject” behind a link or a second click. Nothing in the analytics or marketing categories below loads until you say yes to it.

Changing your mind later

Open Cookie settings in the footer of any page, any time, to see or change what you’ve chosen. Rejecting a category you’d previously accepted removes the cookies that category had set, not just the record of your new choice.

The table below is generated from what’s actually switched on for this site right now — if a service isn’t in use, it isn’t listed, rather than us listing something that might apply “in general”.

Cookies we don’t control

This site is hosted behind Cloudflare, which also sets a small number of its own cookies for security and performance reasons that aren’t specific to this site (see the “Necessary” row above). If you book an appointment through our booking partner, Salon IQ, that happens inside their own system and is covered by their cookie and privacy policies, not this one.

Controlling cookies in your browser

Beyond the choices above, every modern browser lets you block or delete cookies yourself, and most let you do it per website. Blocking cookies entirely may stop parts of this site working properly — the cookie consent choice itself relies on one.
